This metabolomics profiling study aimed to investigate the metabolic differences before and after 14-day administration of the new drug WK0202, a β-lapachone derivative, to healthy volunteers. The study seeks to identify characteristic metabolites following WK0202 administration, demonstrating that these metabolic changes provide a potential basis for the clinical use of WK0202 and offering promising therapeutic approaches for treating diseases characterized by excessive oxidative stress and inflammation.
