This study was conducted to establish a basis for developing genetic identification methods for medicinal plant resources. Using next-generation sequencing (NGS), we extracted DNA from Cyathula officinalis K.C.Kuan, performed NGS, and obtained the complete chloroplast genome sequence and structural information.
