About KPOP.
KPOP (Korea ProteOme rePository) is a standardized data repository for open access to proteome resources, including various types of Mass Spectrometry data, their analysis results, and metadata. KPOP provides user-friendly interfaces, rapid file transfer, and flexible file management. KPOP aims to maintain meticulously curated data sets to facilitate popular "big data" approaches involving proteomics data, such as machine learning and deep learning research. To facilitate "multi-omics" analyses, proteomics resources are linked to other types of resources, such as whole exome and RNA sequencing, when they are (from the same project). KPOP is also a member of K-BDS (Korea BigData Station), which is a comprehensive repository for all types of biological research data.
