Project description
|
This project aims to establish an integrated database that collects, standardizes, and provides microbiome data derived from marine animals. The database is initially centered on whale-associated microbiome data and will be expanded to include a wider range of marine organisms, enabling comparative analyses of microbial communities across species and advancing research on host–microbe interactions.

Description of files
|
Long-format table containing the relative abundance and phylum- and family-level taxonomic classification of ASVs detected in the four spotted seal intestinal samples. Each row represents the abundance of one ASV in one sample. Column 1 (Feature ID): unique ASV identifier. Column 2 (Sample): sample identifier. Column 3 (Abundance): relative abundance of the ASV in the corresponding sample, expressed as a percentage. Column 4 (Phylum): phylum-level taxonomic assignment. Column 5 (Family): family-level taxonomic assignment. Column 6 (Phylum_Family): combined phylum and family label used for visualization. Taxonomic groups with relative abundance below 1% were categorized as “Others (< 1%)” for graphical presentation. |
