본 프로젝트는 해양생물 유래 마이크로바이옴 데이터를 수집·표준화하여 제공하는 통합 데이터베이스 구축을 목표로 한다. 초기에는 고래 마이크로바이옴 데이터를 중심으로 구성하며, 향후 다양한 해양생물로 범위를 확대하여 종간 미생물 군집 비교와 숙주–미생물 상호작용 연구에 활용하고자 한다.

Metadata for spotted seal (Phoca largha) intestinal samples used for 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. Each row represents one biological sample. Column 1 (Sample): unique sample identifier, where JJ and KW indicate the sampling region and SI and LI indicate the small and large intestine, respectively. Column 2 (Region): geographic region in which the specimen was collected. Column 3 (Sampling method): circumstances or method of specimen collection. Column 4 (Sex): sex of the host animal. Column 5 (Organs): intestinal tissue from which the sample was collected. Column 6 (CRI): specimen identifier assigned to the individual host animal. |
