Kluyveromyces marxianus KCTC 17555

Kluyveromyces marxianus is a thermotolerant yeast that can use a variety of carbon sources, making it a highly versatile microbial resource for industrial purposes. KRIBB has announced a genome assembly of approximately 10.9 Mb created by partial finishing of draft assembly produced from NGS data and end sequencing of a fosmid librarry (Sanger) of K. marxianus KCTC 17555 (PMID: 23193140, https:// www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/AKFM00000000) in 2012. The purpose of this bioproject is to provide raw data used for genome decoding and RNA-seq raw data of transcripts obtained under three different culture conditions.
